Another practice painting to the theme of ‘ flowers and passion’ .
This painting differs in a lot of ways from yesterday’s flower and passion painting. A whole new way of painting and viewing flowers has been illustrated. Liquin was used as a mixing solvent. It made the paint thicker and more buttery which paired well with the way I applied the paint in blocky shapes to simplify and break down the flowers form.
I will be using the above painting method again soon but with red flowers instead of orange and on a larger scale.

I have recently started a large painting of 10 middle-aged men in a locker room. They all wear full body underoo’s and stand in masculine poses- some will even have mustaches. The men will have speech bubbles talking about their true feelings and emotions about women. That’s right. Underoo’s and mustaches AND feelings. What more could a person possibly want from a painting?
