So. Let’s dive in.

Today was one of the only nice ( incredibly nice! ) days of the Summer so far and yet I made a dreary black and white painting, even after putting on a sun dress with floral print and all, and topping it off with sunscreen lotion and lemonade. I also found time to bike to a park which had a baseball diamond it was more like a diamond in the rough. The wind must have blown the trash from the grounds into the protective chain link fence. That’s what this painting is about.

There is no real reason or answer  for why I chose to use black and white to comment on keeping the Earth green and clean, it just kind of happened. I do know the answer isn’t putting your trash on the ground when there is a garbage can two feet away from where you dropped your trash.

For this piece Chine-collé was used. It is my drug art, I am addicted to it- just like I used to be addicted to using Touch markers.  Although that could actually make me sound like I was addicted to sniffing markers. Which I was not..so, moving on…

A quick question for anyone who wants to answer it :  Should I add color to this piece? It’s a strong black and white image but would it be more interesting with color? Anyone?.. Bueller? .. Bueller? ..

I just re-read this blog post and have come to the conclusion that it’s very scatter brained and jumpy. I’ll blame that on the ice cream I just enjoyed. I’m a small girl who likes a lot of ice cream. The results are ridiculous, and this blog post proves it.
