Sketchbook
To update the sketchbook proportion of this blog daily is the main objective- I’ve set the goal of having a sketchbook with me at all times this summer. It will act as a journal- keeping track of the people I meet, and the places I go. Quick studies, gestural figures, blind contours, line contours, and full detail portraits and drawings will fill the pages as I move through the Summer months.
The below drawings are random pages from sketchbooks I worked in during my first year at NSCAD.
Objects in the apartment.
Testing out a new box of charcoals.
Three cats in thirteen minutes.
Three hands in three minutes.
10 minute preliminary sketch from a life drawing class
Drawn with color 4 color pencils at the lunch table
8B graphite pencil- a drawing in the time it took my puppy to pee.

I was told that a sign read " There's always money in the banana stand " at the Fight tuition fees protest. I did not mean for this drawing to look so..suggestive?
New Glascow, P.E.I- the harbor.
Another Boat from the same harbor.
